testimonies from Virginia Eta

"When I went through recruitment my freshman year, I was looking for a community of women that would support me no matter what. Pi Phi has done that and so much more. Through Pi Phi, I have gained inspirational sisters who serve has my role models, volunteer in the greater Richmond community, and take on leadership roles that have given me invaluable experiences. My favorite Pi Phi memory happened just last semester during a career fair. I remember wandering around the booths, trying to gain the courage to introduce myself to the representatives of big shot accounting firms. Then, I saw my biggest standing as a representative for a firm I was interested in. As a senior who had already been hired by the firm, she was familiar with their hiring process and was able to introduce me to the recruiter and get me started in the right direction. I am so thankful for her and all of the upperclassmen Pi Phi women who have mentored me and given me invaluable professional advice. I hope that I can provide that same advice and mentorship to my little and all the younger members."

"Through Pi Phi, I found a group of women who never fail to make me smile, whether grabbing Dhall before chapter or meeting eyes on the silent floor of the library way too late at night. I couldn’t have imagined a sisterhood so willing to support one another through good times and bad, and I’m so grateful every day for their sincere friendship."
